Hotels number 3 and 1 complete overhaul, 2008 - 2009
Events, facts, documents and evidence: The tourist center of the National Park "Belovezhskaya Pushcha" is situated near the village of Kamenyuki, in the southern part of the protected forest. There are three hotels (number 1, 3 and 4) there.
In 2002-2003 hotels number 1 and number 3 have been renovated to qualify to European standards. At the same time traditional local fretwork and ornaments in the inside which gave original and unique local spirit to the hotels have been lost. The hotels have got a trivial shape, although their exterior looked quite nice.
The plan of preparations for the 600th anniversary of Belovezhskaya Pushcha's nature protection provided for an overhaul of hotels number 3 and 1.
Hotel number 3

The overhaul of the hotel started in 2009. The photos below show the change of the hotel facade after the repair made. In addition to the absolute alteration of the external design of the building, all light-blue spruce trees earlier grown along the hotel have been felled.
