Birches and the Sky

Belovezhskaya Pushcha is the old wood where pure birch stands are of rare appearance. It is because the pure birch stands are pioneer forests occurred after cutting. The pure birch forest is of the man-made character. Nevertheless, birch stands are nice woods which were sung by the poets and were drawn by the artists from time immemorial.
